In their natural environment, most orchids that have tropical origins are epiphytic. This means they don’t grow in soil but rather on other plants, rocks, or tree trunks, absorbing water and nutrients from the atmosphere.
In our country, orchids are considered indoor plants as they require high temperatures and atmospheric humidity. The flowering of Phalaenopsis orchids lasts up to 3 months, making them an excellent gift choice. In this variety of orchids, you can find flowers in white, pink, and purple shades, as well as hybrids with various color combinations.

Φως: To τοποθετούμε σε φωτεινή θέση μέσα στο σπίτι, χωρίς να δέχεται απευθείας τις ακτίνες του ήλιου.
Θερμοκρασία: Ιδανικές θερμοκρασίες για να ευδοκιμήσει είναι 18-27°C.
Πότισμα: Tην περίοδο της άνοιξης και του φθινόπωρου ποτίζουμε την ορχιδέα περίπου 1 φορά την εβδομάδα, την περίοδο του καλοκαιριού κάθε 5 μέρες, ενώ την περίοδο του χειμώνα κάθε 10 μέρες.
Λίπανση: Κατά την περίοδο βλάστησης, λιπαίνουμε κάθε 2 βδομάδες με λίπασμα ειδικό για ορχιδέες. Κατά την περίοδο ανθοφορίας, η λίπανση γίνεται μια φορά το μήνα. Αποφεύγουμε τη λίπανση κατά την περίοδο του χειμώνα ή εφαρμόζουμε σε πολύ αραιά χρονικά διαστήματα
